The geomorphology research group at the University of Bayreuth is seeking to fill a position as a fixed-term postdoctoral researcher (Akademischer Rat auf Zeit). The position is initially limited to three years, which can be extended by a further three years, and is remunerated according to salary grade A13. Deadline for application is 31 August 2025. The positions are funded through the project Climate change impacts on mountain river basins (CLIMB), that aims at understanding the impact of climate warming on the sediment flux from the mountain cryosphere. CLIMB will involve both, field- and laboratory-based work, as well as numerical modelling and GIS-analyses. The two successful candidates will work closely together.
